Det var på den tiden jag jobbade skift på fabriken. Jag var 29 år och 11 månader och skulle alltså snart fylla 30. En yngre kollega i kontrollrummet tyckte 30 år verkade mycket och han undrade hur det kändes att vara så gammal. Själv var han i 20-årsåldern och menade att när man kommer upp i den höga åldern av 30 år är man egentligen förbrukad som människa. Han sa "när du fyller 30 ska du få en present av mig, och den presenten blir en pistol med bara en kula i".

Idag fyller jag 55 år och betraktar numera 30 år som en ålder då man är väldigt ung. Näst intill barn. När jag ser tillbaka på mina 30- och 40-årsdagar minns jag inte dem som särskilt ångestfyllda. Däremot 50-årsdagen. Jag trodde 50-årsdagen automatiskt skulle innebära att jag fick hjärtinfarkt eller något annat allvarligt sjukdomstillstånd, men så blev det alltså inte. Istället mår jag nästan bättre idag än när jag fyllde 30.
 
Så pistolen med bara en kula i får vänta ett tag till. Nu är siktet inställt på 60.

En (till!) av mina Facebook-vänner fyllde nyligen år, och eftersom jag VET att hon är ett år yngre än mej blev jag förbryllad när det i "påminnelse-listan" stod att hon fyllde 45. Men jag tänkte att FB hade väl bara inte "slagit om" till hennes rätta ålder - det var ju rätt tidigt på morgonkvisten, lixom! ;-)

Men sen började jag räkna efter lite, och insåg att det faktiskt var JAG som var FEL på det!! Hoppsan-sa... Jag är inte 47, som jag plötsligt hade fått för mej, utan bara 46!! :-D

Det var en skaplig ungdoms-boost, faktiskt!! Så nu räknar jag kallt med att jag är si så där 90 så kommer jag inte att ha nån större koll på det heller, utan tro att jag åtminstone inte är en dag äldre än 85. :-)
